Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Fiber Laser Cutting Machine Operator to handle flatbed sheet-metal laser operations for our lighting fixture manufacturing unit. You will be responsible for set-up, material loading, executing CAD/CAM nesting programs, and maintaining optical/mechanical precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: Set up and operate large-format CNC Fiber Laser cutting machines (CypCut / CypOne software controllers).
- Material & Bed Prep: Load metal sheets (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass) onto the bed, align stock, and clear cut scrap/slags from the slat bed.
- Parameter Adjustment: Load nested CAD files, set assist gas parameters (Oxygen, Nitrogen, compressed air), focus points, and laser power according to sheet thickness.
- Quality Assurance: Check cut quality for burrs, edge precision, and dimensional accuracy using vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Basic Maintenance: Clean protective lenses, ceramic rings, laser nozzles, auto-focus sensors, and ensure proper extraction/chiller cooling function.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1 to 4 years running flatbed fiber laser cutting machines in sheet-metal fabrication, lighting enclosures, or control panel manufacturing.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with CNC controller consoles, basic AutoCAD/nesting concepts, material gauge standards, and shop-floor safety (laser safety glasses, ventilation).
Salary Range
- Junior Operator (0–2 years): ₹10,000 – ₹20,000 per month
- Mid-Level Operator (2–4 years): ₹20,000 – ₹27,000 per month
