About the Role
The General Manager (GM) will be responsible for overseeing overall business operations, driving growth, and ensuring strategic alignment across all departments at Abizob India. This role demands a strong leader who can balance operational efficiency with innovation, scale business performance, and build high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute business strategies aligned with company goals
- Identify growth opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion plans
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities
2. Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day business operations across departments
- Ensure operational efficiency, cost control, and process optimization
- Implement systems and processes to support scalability
3. Financial Oversight
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial planning
- Analyze financial performance and implement corrective actions
- Ensure profitability and sustainable revenue growth
4. Team Leadership & Culture
- Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and teams
- Build a strong performance-driven and accountable culture
- Drive hiring, training, and retention strategies
5. Sales & Business Development
- Drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives
- Build and maintain key client and partner relationships
- Oversee marketing and branding alignment with business goals
6. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies
- Maintain ethical business practices and corporate governance standards
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8–15+ years of leadership experience in operations or general management
- Proven track record of scaling businesses and driving revenue growth
- Strong financial acumen and decision-making skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience in Indian market dynamics and business environment
