Role description
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with 7–9 years of overall IT experience.
- Hands-on expertise in IBM i (RPG) and/or PeopleSoft development and support.
- Candidates with experience in IBM i (RPG):
- Strong hands-on experience in RPG III/RPG IV/Free-format RPG, CL programming, DB2 on IBMi, embedded SQL, and IBMi system concepts including libraries, objects, job control, and security basics.
- Expertise in debugging, performance tuning, batch/job processing, query optimization, and troubleshooting using tools like STRDBG, job logs, and spool analysis.
- Candidates with experience in PeopleSoft:
- Strong hands-on experience in PeopleSoft technical development including Application Designer, PeopleCode, Component Processor, Application Engine (AE), and Process Scheduler.
- Expertise in PeopleSoft integrations using Component Interfaces, Integration Broker (REST/SOAP), file/API-based integrations, along with reporting tools such as SQR and BI Publisher.
- Experience working with enterprise applications and handling complex business requirements.
- Exposure to Zuora Revenue or similar revenue management/billing tools is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms is preferred, with AWS experience being highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
