Looking for an L2 Support Engineer to manage the operations 24x7x365, 8 hours shift, 6 days a week.
Requirement: Engineering graduate or MCA
- Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA/ MSc (CS/IT)
- More than 5 years of IT experience, out of which at least 3 years in dealing with Cyber Security systems and operations
- Hands-on experience with basic troubleshooting, VPN, and NGFW
- Exposure to monitoring tools and basic server/VM environments
- Familiar with Firewall ,Load Balancer, WAF,API Security, Switches (KVM and Network), Forward Proxy ,HCI Severs ,VPN Solution, PAM and ticketing and monitoring tools.
Certifications (Any one of the following) :
- CompTIA Security+/CEH/ECSA
- CCNA Routing & Switching/Security or equivalent.
Primary Role & Responsibilities: Handle daily operational tasks, first-line troubleshooting, and ensure
systems are running as expected.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure backup jobs (configurations, logs, rule sets) are completed
successfully.
- Assist in asset inventory management and ensure tagging/labeling is up to
date.
- Create and track tickets on ITSM (Service Requests, Incidents, etc.).
- Conduct routine health checks, log reviews, and apply standard SOPs.
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to L3.
- Apply approved configuration changes and patch updates under L3 and SMEs
guidance.
- Maintain daily operational reports and incident records.
- Coordinate with IOCL IT teams for basic integrations and service availability.
- Integrate PAM with directory services (LDAP/AD) and define privilege
policies.
- Provide user support for VPN, proxy access, or authentication-related issues.
- Execute VA scans under defined schedules and report deviations.
