We are looking for a detail-oriented Content Editor to review and refine written content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency. The role involves editing academic, technical, and digital content while maintaining high editorial standards.
Job Summary
The Content Editor will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and improving written content before publication. This role involves correcting grammar, refining sentence structure, checking formatting, and ensuring that the content meets editorial and publication standards. The editor will work closely with authors, designers, and internal teams to prepare manuscripts and educational materials for final release.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread academic, technical, and educational content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting.
- Improve readability, clarity, and logical flow of documents.
- Ensure consistency in language, tone, and style across all materials.
- Review manuscripts, book chapters, reports, and research-related documents.
- Verify references, citations, tables, figures, and formatting guidelines.
- Coordinate with authors to clarify edits or content changes when necessary.
- Maintain editorial standards and ensure compliance with publishing guidelines.
- Prepare documents for final publication and digital distribution.
- Manage multiple editing tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Assist in maintaining documentation and editorial records.
Required Skills
- Excellent command of English grammar, vocabulary, and writing style.
- Strong editing and proofreading skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Google Docs, and document formatting tools.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Communication, Literature, or related field.
