Qualification: Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹28,000 Gross per Month

Duty Hours: 9 Hours per Shift
Shift Rotation: 2 Weeks Morning Shift & 2 Weeks Night Shift
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations in a Coke Oven Production Plant. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of production processes, manpower management, equipment coordination, safety compliance, and quality control. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth plant operations, achieving production targets, and maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day production activities in the Coke Oven production unit.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per planned schedules.
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams for uninterrupted plant operations.
- Monitor process parameters and ensure compliance with operational standards.
- Manage shop floor manpower and allocate duties efficiently.
- Maintain production records, shift reports, and operational documentation.
- Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance requirements.
- Train and guide operators and production staff on operational procedures and safety practices.
- Handle shift operations independently and resolve production-related issues promptly.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Coke Oven Operations or Steel & Iron Production Processes.
- Production planning and shift management.
- Manpower handling and team supervision.
- Process monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and statutory compliance.
- Basic computer knowledge and report preparation.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
Candidate Profile
- 7–10 years of experience in Coke Oven Production or Steel & Iron Manufacturing.
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Ability to work in rotating shifts.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in handling production teams and achieving output targets.
