JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Team Lead to manage a team of multimedia designers and Flash developers in the e-learning domain. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Instructional Designing, Adobe Flash/Animate, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Articulate 360, ActionScript 3.0, UI/graphic design, and instructional design principles, along with experience in SCORM compliance and learning management systems (LMS). Strong leadership, project management, and client communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Technical Oversight
- Lead the development of Flash-based e-learning courses and interactive animations using Adobe Flash CS4/CS5/CS6/Animate CC/HTML5/CSS/JavaScript and ActionScript 3.0.
- Guide and review UI and graphic designs for e-learning modules.
- Oversee the integration of multimedia elements including audio, video, animation, and illustrations.
- Ensure SCORM-compliant course packaging for seamless LMS deployment.
- Supervise development and quality assurance of content created in Articulate 360.
- Ensure usability, interactivity, and learner engagement are consistently met.
Instructional & E-Learning Design
- Apply instructional design best practices in collaboration with IDs and SMEs.
- Validate and review storyboards, graphics, and animation timelines.
- Support the team in translating instructional concepts into effective visual and interactive content.
Team & Project Management
- Assign tasks and manage workloads across designers, developers, and animators.
- Monitor project timelines, ensure quality control, and deliver outputs as per schedule.
- Conduct regular review sessions and provide constructive feedback to the team.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide status reports to leadership.
Client Communication & Support
- Engage with clients and stakeholders for requirements gathering, demos, and feedback sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop actionable plans and workflows to help the team meet project goals and deadlines efficiently.
- Team Training & Upskilling: Identify skill gaps and provide necessary training to team members to improve productivity and performance.
- Clear Communication: Deliver clear and concise instructions, project expectations, and task breakdowns to team members.
- Performance Monitoring: Track individual and team performance; ensure effective implementation of training and identify areas needing improvement.
- Feedback Management: Actively listen to team feedback and resolve conflicts or bottlenecks that may impact team dynamics or delivery.
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations, resource allocation, and task prioritization to ensure smooth workflow and project continuity.
- Reporting: Prepare and share regular progress updates and performance reports with senior management or project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- B.Tech from a recognized and accredited university
- Strong understanding of e-learning project workflows, tools, and standards (SCORM, LMS, content development, etc.)
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing or leading teams within the e-learning or digital learning industry
- Exposure to varied roles such as Instructional Design, Visual Design, Content Development, QA, or Course Authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate, etc.)
