Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL databases
- Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues
- Handle database backup, recovery, and migration activities
- Collaborate with backend developers and product teams
- Optimize database structures and indexing for performance improvement
- Ensure database security, integrity, and availability
- Support production deployments and database-related troubleshooting
- Work with large datasets and improve query execution performance
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database administration and development
- Good experience in SQL query writing and optimization
- Knowledge of indexing, joins, normalization, and transactions
- Experience with stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Familiarity with backup and restore processes
- Understanding of database performance tuning
- Basic knowledge of Linux environment is an added advantage
- Experience working in product development environments preferred
Eligibility
- 2+ years of experience in PostgreSQL Development
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
