About the Role
Optimus Medical Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced, proactive, and result-oriented State Manager to manage and oversee field operations across the North-East States, West Bengal, and nearby regions.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing Field Officers (FOs) and Field Executives to ensure timely collection of required documents from hospitals, patients, and other relevant stakeholders. The role requires strong field networking, resource planning, team coordination, and operational monitoring to ensure cases are completed within the stipulated TAT while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
The State Manager will play a key role in building and strengthening the field network, ensuring adequate field coverage, recruiting suitable Field Officers, and driving operational performance across the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate field operations across the assigned North-East States, West Bengal, and nearby regions.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for timely collection of required documents from hospitals, patients, and other relevant sources.
- Ensure all assigned cases are followed up and closed within the stipulated Turnaround Time (TAT).
- Monitor case progress regularly and proactively address delays, bottlenecks, and resource constraints.
- Ensure cases are closed with the expected level of quality, completeness, and accuracy.
- Review field submissions and ensure that all required documents and information are properly collected and submitted.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with FOs, Field Executives, internal teams, hospitals, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a strong field network across the assigned territory to ensure adequate and reliable field coverage.
- Identify resource gaps and proactively plan and allocate FOs based on case requirements and geographical coverage.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and develop Field Officers as required to strengthen the field network.
- Maintain a sufficient pool of active FOs and ensure timely replacement or additional resources whenever required.
- Build strong relationships with FOs and ensure their continued engagement and availability for assignments.
- Monitor FO performance, productivity, availability, and case completion.
- Identify cases at risk of TAT breach and take immediate corrective action.
- Escalate operational challenges and unresolved issues to the concerned management team promptly.
- Prepare and share regular reports on case status, TAT, quality, FO performance, resource availability, and field coverage.
- Ensure smooth coordination between field operations and the internal claims/operations team.
- Undertake any other responsibilities or assignments entrusted by the reporting manager from time to time.
Key Performance Expectations
- TAT Adherence: Ensure assigned cases are consistently completed and closed within the stipulated TAT.
- Quality of Case Closures: Ensure submissions are complete, accurate, properly documented, and meet the required quality standards.
- Field Network Development: Build and maintain a strong and dependable FO network across the assigned territory.
- Resource Planning: Ensure adequate field resources are available and appropriately allocated to prevent delays in case processing.
- FO Recruitment & Development: Proactively recruit, onboard, train, and develop FOs to maintain sufficient field coverage.
- Operational Coordination: Ensure effective coordination between FOs, Field Executives, hospitals, patients, and internal teams.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline. Candidates with a healthcare, operations, management, or related background will be preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in field operations, healthcare operations, insurance claims, investigation, verification, or a similar field.
- Freshers are not eligible for this position.
- Candidates with prior experience managing Field Officers, field executives, investigators, or geographically distributed field teams will be preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
