We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing distributor and dealer networks, developing customer relationships, and leading the sales team to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Manage and expand the distributor, dealer, and retail network within the assigned territory.
- Identify new business opportunities and acquire new customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and channel partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Lead, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of the field sales team.
- Ensure effective implementation of company sales and marketing initiatives.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and territory performance analyses.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure smooth business operations.
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in sales, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in FMCG, consumer durables, pharmaceuticals, industrial products, or related industries is preferred.
