About the Role
Ryvanta is looking for a highly creative and passionate Decor Designer to conceptualize, design, and execute luxury wedding and event experiences for clients in the wedding and event management industry. The role requires transforming client requirements into unique design concepts while ensuring seamless execution on-site. The ideal candidate should possess strong aesthetic sensibilities, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of event décor, styling, and production.
Key Responsibilities
- Concept Development
- Develop bespoke event concepts based on the client's vision, culture, preferences, and budget.
- Research international and contemporary wedding and event trends to create innovative and experiential concepts.
- Design cohesive experiences for all event functions, ensuring each event has a unique identity while maintaining an overall design language.
- Develop mood boards, colour palettes, material palettes, and styling concepts.
- Decor Design
- ● Design all event spaces, including:○ Entrances○ Stages○ Mandaps○ Lounges○ Walkways○ Dining Areas○ Bars○ Photo Opportunities○ Ceiling Installations○ Floral Installations○ Welcome Areas○ Guest Experience Zones
- Select flowers, fabrics, furniture, props, decorative elements, lighting concepts, and styling accessories suitable for each event.
- Design Presentations
- Create professional client presentations using Canva.
- Present design concepts, mood boards, references, and layouts to clients.
- Modify concepts based on client feedback while maintaining design quality and feasibility.
- Coordinate with the Graphic Designer to ensure all print collaterals align with the décor theme.
Technical PlanningVendor CoordinationOn-Site ExecutionDesign Development
- Prepare detailed décor layouts in coordination with the 2D/3D Design team.
- Plan space utilization, guest flow, and décor placement.
- Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to ensure designs are technically feasible.
- Select materials and finishes suitable for fabrication and execution.
- Coordinate with florists, lighting vendors, fabricators, furniture suppliers, printers, and other décor vendors.
- Finalize material selections and production specifications.
- Ensure vendors understand design intent and quality expectations. Venue Recce & Planning
- Conduct venue visits to understand site conditions and opportunities.
- Take measurements and identify production requirements.
- Plan installation timelines, logistics, and décor placement in coordination with the execution team.
- Supervise décor installation at the venue.
- Ensure execution matches the approved design and presentation.
- Coordinate with hotel teams, production staff, and vendors throughout setup.
- Resolve on-site design and execution challenges efficiently.
- Conduct final quality checks before client handover.
- Maintain a library of design references, material samples, fabrics, flowers, and décor trends.
- Continuously develop new themes, concepts, and luxury event experiences.
- Research new materials, styling techniques, and global décor trends to enhance the company's design portfolio.
Required Skills
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking.
- Excellent understanding of luxury wedding décor and styling.
- Knowledge of flowers, fabrics, furniture, lighting, and décor materials.
- Proficiency in Canva for creating client presentations.
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop is preferred.
- Understanding of layouts and event production.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Event Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in wedding décor, event design, interior styling, luxury hospitality, or event management.
- Strong portfolio showcasing décor concepts, event styling, and creative presentations.
- Passion for design, innovation, and luxury experiences.
- Willingness to travel for venue visits, client meetings, and event execution.
- A proactive attitude, leadership qualities, and commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
