Education Mandatory:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 Years of core RMC quality control experience. OR
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering* with a minimum of *3 Years* of core RMC quality control experience.
Industry Experience: Direct experience working inside an RMC Batching Plant is mandatory. Candidates from pure real estate/builder testing labs will not be prioritized.
Job Description :
1. Laboratory & Raw Material Testing
- Perform physical and chemical verification of all incoming raw materials, including Cement, Coarse & Fine Aggregates, Fly Ash, and Admixtures
- Conduct sieve analysis, aggregate crushing value (ACV), impact value, silt content, and moisture correction tests on a daily basis.
- Maintain strict calibration records of all laboratory equipment, including compressive testing machines (CTM), balances, and ovens.
2. Concrete Mix Design & Batching Control
- Cast concrete cubes daily per dispatch schedule and conduct Compressive Strength Testing at 7-day and 28-day intervals.
- Check and adjust water-cement ratios dynamically based on aggregate moisture content.
- Coordinate closely with the Plant Batcher to ensure concrete is batched exactly as per the approved mix design.
- Work toward raw material cost optimization by safely optimizing mix designs without compromising structural integrity or grade specifications.
3. Site Quality & Dispatch Monitoring
- Conduct Slump Cone Tests on fresh concrete before dispatch to ensure optimal workability.
- Coordinate with Transit Mixer (TM) drivers to ensure transit times are minimized and concrete workability is maintained upon arrival at the site.
- Attend client sites during major pours (such as high-volume foundation rafts) to address concrete consistency, pumping issues, and handle client QC queries on-site.
4. Documentation, Compliance & Audits
- Maintain comprehensive, error-free quality registers, including:
- Incoming Material Test Register
- Cube Casting & Compressive Strength Register
- Sieve Analysis & Moisture Correction Logs
- Calibration Logs
- Ensure the plant laboratory is fully compliant with ISO standards and ready for external audits by clients or government regulatory bodies.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
