Job Summary
GreenAxis Solutions is looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Crop Advisor to support its Greenfield Fertiliser Business. The role involves providing technical agronomic advice to farmers, promoting the company's fertiliser portfolio, conducting field demonstrations, and building strong relationships with the farming community to improve crop productivity and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to farmers on crop nutrition, fertiliser application, and best agricultural practices.
- Conduct field visits, crop monitoring, demonstrations, and farmer meetings.
- Promote and generate demand for the company's fertiliser products.
- Identify crop-related issues and recommend suitable nutrient management solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, dealers, and channel partners.
- Collect market intelligence, competitor information, and farmer feedback.
- Prepare field reports and assist in achieving sales and business development targets.
- Coordinate with the sales and technical teams to ensure effective customer support.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: B.Sc. Agriculture or an equivalent degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Agronomy or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the fertiliser, agri-input, seed, pesticide, or agricultural advisory sector.
- Good understanding of crop management, plant nutrition, and fertiliser usage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for field visits.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of local crops and farming practices.
- Ability to conduct farmer training programmes and field demonstrations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital reporting tools.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Chandigarh, Chandigarh (Chandigarh): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
