As a Tax Accounting & Reporting Senior Manager, you will support our Global teams through the fast-changing landscape of tax legislation, financial processes, and digitalization. You’ll be responsible for your portfolio of engagements. The ideal candidate for this position would embrace the opportunity to work with Deloitte US and Global member firms, be detail oriented, and have excellent people, team management, project management, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities include:
GAAP Conversion (Bridge) and Financial Statements:
- GAAP Conversion Preparation (Bridge files): Convert accounts from management GAAP (US GAAP or IFRS) to local.
- Statutory Financial Statements: Prepare statutory financial statements and notes disclosures.
- Quality Risk and Compliance: Adhere to 100% of procedures for Quality Risk and compliance by following guidance from checklists
- Utilize your critical and analytical skills, underpinned by US GAAP/IFRS knowledge. Master the accrual-based accounting principles - Debit/Credit and the basic structure and components of the financial statements.
- Support in managing to plan and help deliver work based on the individual calendars available.
- Collaborating and frequent interaction with your colleagues across different locations for the delivery of statutory financial statements.
- Controllers and Finance function stakeholder management
Technology:
Proficiency in reporting tools: Demonstrate hands-on experience with GAAP conversion and financial statements reporting tools such as Workiva, Thomson Reuters, CaseWare, and similar platforms.
Data Management: Efficiently help manage and process financial data using advanced Excel functions and other data analysis software.
Automation and Efficiency: Identify and resolve issues as well as drive change for related improvements. Leverage technology to automate routine tasks and enhance the efficiency of financial statements reporting processes.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Master’s degree (MBA/ M.COM) in finance or accounting.
- 12 plus years of experience in a reputed firm.
- Strong analytical, consultative, quantitative, and project management skills
- Executive presence, and excellent communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills with an aptitude for working as part of a global team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Attention to detail, self-starter and deadline oriented
- Should be willing to work in rotational shifts.
- Strong Project Management skills and PMP certification is recommended

- Ability to prioritize tasks, work and manage multiple assignments in a team environment
