Role Overview:
As a Pre-Sales or Business Development Executive at Ranniti, you will be the first substantive point of contact for prospects like inbound and outbound. Your role is to take interest and turn it into intent. You will lead discovery calls, surface genuine business problems, and build solution narratives that make the next conversation easier to have. On the outbound side, you will engage prospects with relevance and consistency, creating real pipeline from cold starts. This is a role for someone ready to move from support to ownership.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Inbound Sales Ownership
- Lead discovery calls with inbound prospects like ask the right questions, listen actively, and build an accurate picture of their business situation.
- Identify gaps in operations, sales processes, or growth strategy that Ranniti's services are positioned to address.
- Convert qualified enquiries into active opportunities with a clear next step and documented context.
- Build structured solution narratives that connect client problems to Ranniti's approach in language the client understands.
Outbound Sales Contribution
- Engage outbound prospects through calls, emails, and meetings with relevance, not volume, as the priority.
- Personalise pitches based on the prospect's industry, company stage, and likely business challenges.
- Support campaign-driven outreach with strong, contextual messaging that earns a response.
- Create genuine interest in Ranniti's offerings and move prospects into the active pipeline with clear qualification.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop customised presentations and proposal inputs tailored to the prospect's specific context and priorities.
- Collaborate with the sales team on deal positioning, ensuring the solution narrative holds across every touchpoint.
- Build ROI-driven value propositions that help clients articulate the case for engagement internally.
- Respond to RFPs and RFIs with structured, well-reasoned submissions aligned to client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions, solution discussions, and pipeline status.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
Education: Any postgraduate degree - MBA or equivalent. Background in business, marketing, or communication is preferred.
Who Can Apply:
- Candidates with 1 – 2.5 years of experience in pre-sales, inside sales, business development, or a client-facing B2B role.
- Prior exposure to consulting, SaaS, or professional services is an advantage.
Skills:
- Confident verbal communication and able to lead discovery conversations and hold a client's attention.
- Strong written skills in proposals, emails, and solution summaries that are clear and well-structured.
- Genuine interest in understanding how businesses work and where they struggle.
- Ability to build ROI narratives and value propositions that resonate with business decision-makers.
- Able to track multiple prospects and keep pipeline records current.
- Able to operate with some independence and good judgement.
