Role Summary:
The Assistant Program Manager (APM) will work closely with the Program Manager to ensure effective implementation and delivery of the program. The role involves operational execution, team coordination, data oversight, stakeholder engagement, and support in scaling initiatives. The APM will play a critical part in driving program success by ensuring timely, high- quality outcomes across all operational areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Program Manager in implementing the program across designated locations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution of training, placement, and outreach activities.
- Create data-related processes by ensuring timely entry, validation, and analysis of program data; create in preparing high-quality reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor program progress and track key deliverables.
- Manage field-level operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to program guidelines and timelines.
- Mentor and support trainers and other team members to maintain program quality and consistency.
- Assist in designing and rolling out pilot projects or process innovations as needed.
- Facilitate communication with college partners and corporate stakeholders as assigned.
- Ensure documentation, compliance, and reporting requirements are met in collaboration with the data and operations teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in program implementation or management in the development or education sector.
- Preference for candidates with a background in social development, business, education, or related fields.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills with a process-driven approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with data and reporting tools.
- A collaborative mindset, willingness to travel, and a passion for youth development.
