PRT (Primary Teacher) – Social Science
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PRT Social Science Teacher to educate primary school students in subjects such as Environmental Studies, History, Geography, and Civics. The teacher will create an engaging learning environment, develop lesson plans, and encourage curiosity and critical thinking among students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver interactive Social Science lessons for primary classes.
- Teach concepts related to history, geography, civics, and environmental studies.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching aids.
- Assess and evaluate students’ academic performance regularly.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment.
- Encourage participation through projects, activities, and discussions.
- Use modern teaching methods and digital tools to enhance learning.
- Maintain student records and prepare progress reports.
- Coordinate with parents during PTMs and provide feedback on student progress.
- Participate in school events, training programs, and staff meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science/History/Geography or related field.
- D.El.Ed./B.Ed. preferred.
- CTET qualified (preferred as per school norms).
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
