Job Summary
As a Senior Tester specializing in DO 178B compliance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded software. Your expertise will enable the thorough testing of software code, aligning with established quality standards to meet client requirements effectively. By leveraging your skills in functional testing and adherence to DO 178B guidelines, you will contribute to the overall success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Create And Review Test Cases Based On Functional Specifications And Software Requirement Specifications, Ensuring Comprehensive Coverage Of All Software Functionalities.
2. Execute Functionality Tests In Accordance With The Test Plan And Associated Test Cases, Validating Compliance With Do 178B Standards.
3. Contribute To The Development Of Test Plans, Providing Insights And Recommendations Based On Assigned Tasks And Expertise In Embedded Software Testing.
4. Track And Analyze Test Coverage, Defect Density, And Other Relevant Metrics, Generating Detailed Progress Reports To Communicate Findings To Stakeholders.
5. Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams For Discussions And Updates, Maintaining Clear Communication With Clients Regarding Testing Progress And Relevant Outcomes.
Skill Requirements
1. Strong Understanding Of Do 178B Standards And Their Application In Embedded Software Testing.
2. Proficiency In Creating And Reviewing Test Cases And Test Plans.
3. Experience In Functional Testing Methodologies And Tools.
4. Familiarity With Metrics Tracking And Reporting In A Testing Environment.
5. Good Communication Skills For Effective Collaboration With Team Members And Clients.
