Job Summary :
We are looking for an Assistant Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in dairy or food processing industries to handle plant operations, maintenance, and utility management. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of dairy plant equipment and preventive maintenance practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle operation and maintenance of dairy plant machinery and utilities.
- Attend breakdowns and perform preventive maintenance activities.
- Ensure smooth functioning of processing equipment, refrigeration systems, boilers, compressors, pumps, etc.
- Support production team to achieve daily production targets.
- Maintain maintenance logs, equipment records, and utility reports.
- Coordinate with vendors for spare parts and servicing requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and food quality standards.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Requirements:
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Dairy Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in dairy or food manufacturing industry.
- Good troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Knowledge of dairy processing equipment and utility systems.
- Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards preferred.
- Ability to work in shifts when required.
