Job Summary
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for supervising daily site activities, ensuring work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications, coordinating with contractors and vendors, maintaining quality standards, and supporting timely project completion.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Monitor workmanship, quality, and compliance with project specifications.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and daily work schedules.
Site Coordination
- Coordinate with Architects, Structural Consultants, Project Managers, and Clients.
- Manage subcontractors, labour teams, and vendors.
- Arrange site resources and ensure uninterrupted workflow.
- Coordinate material deliveries and verify quantities received.
Quality Control
- Conduct regular quality inspections at every construction stage.
- Ensure correct mix proportions, curing, reinforcement placement, and workmanship.
- Monitor waterproofing, plastering, flooring, painting, and finishing quality.
- Report quality issues and ensure timely rectification.
Material Management
- Verify material quality before use.
- Maintain records of material receipts and consumption.
- Prevent wastage and ensure efficient material utilization.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for timely material requirements.
Progress Monitoring
- Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
- Track manpower deployment and productivity.
- Monitor project milestones and report delays.
- Share daily photographs and site updates with the Project Manager.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure workers follow safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
- Report unsafe conditions and incidents immediately.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies.
Client Interaction
- Assist in client site visits.
- Explain construction progress and completed work.
- Address routine site-related queries professionally.
- Maintain positive client relationships.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
