Area Operations Manager – Last Mile
Location: Kerala
Role Overview
DropX Logistics is looking for an experienced Area Operations Manager – Last Mile to lead and manage end-to-end last-mile operations across Kerala. The role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, improving delivery performance, optimizing costs, and ensuring consistent service quality across all DropX stations.
Key Requirement (Non-Negotiable)
- Prior experience working in Amazon Last Mile Operations is mandatory.
- The candidate must have previous experience:
- - Working directly with Amazon Operations OR
- - Managing Amazon EDSP (Delivery Service Partner) operations
- Candidates without Amazon last-mile operations experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- - Own end-to-end last-mile operations across DropX stations in multiple states.
- - Drive station performance against key operational metrics and client SLAs.
- - Manage and improve delivery performance, productivity, and cost efficiency.
- - Lead station managers, cluster teams, and operational leadership teams.
- - Implement standard operating processes across locations.
- - Identify operational gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- - Ensure compliance with Amazon operational requirements and processes.
- - Manage manpower planning, productivity, and resource optimization.
- - Handle operational escalations and ensure timely resolution.
- - Work closely with business and client teams to achieve growth and service objectives.
Candidate Requirements
- - Mandatory: Previous experience in Amazon last-mile operations (Direct Amazon / Amazon EDSP Partner).
- - 5+ years of experience in last-mile logistics, e-commerce, or delivery operations.
- - Strong understanding of Amazon delivery station operations and processes.
- - Experience managing multi-cluster operations.
- - Proven ability to lead large teams and multiple operational layers.
- - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills.
- - Experience in cost optimization and operational improvement.
- - Willingness to travel extensively across operational locations.
Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
