Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and academically driven Assistant Professor – Human Resource Management (HRM) to teach MBA students, mentor future HR professionals, contribute to research, and support institutional development. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of HR concepts, labour laws, strategic HR, and contemporary HR practices, with the ability to integrate industry-oriented learning into the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
- Deliver lectures for MBA courses in Human Resource Management.
- Teach subjects such as:
- Human Resource Management
- Organizational Behaviour
- Talent Acquisition & Management
- Performance Management System
- Training & Development
- Compensation & Benefits
- Industrial Relations & Labour Laws
- HR Analytics
- Strategic HRM
- Employee Engagement
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, case studies, and study materials.
- Conduct tutorials, seminars, workshops, and practical sessions.
- Evaluate assignments, projects, presentations, and examinations.
Student Mentoring
- Guide students for internships, dissertations, live projects, and research.
- Mentor students for placements and career development.
- Monitor academic progress and provide counselling whenever required.
Research & Publications
- Conduct quality research in HR and Management.
- Publish research papers in UGC Care/Scopus/ABDC indexed journals.
- Present papers in national and international conferences.
- Apply for funded research projects and consultancy assignments.
Academic Administration
- Participate in curriculum development and syllabus revision.
- Prepare question papers and assessment reports.
- Maintain academic records and documentation.
- Support NAAC, NBA, AICTE, UGC, and university accreditation activities.
- Coordinate departmental events, FDPs, guest lectures, industrial visits, and conferences.
Industry Interaction
- Build relationships with industries for internships and placements.
- Organize HR conclaves, expert sessions, and corporate interactions.
- Promote experiential and case-based learning.
Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualification
- First Class Bachelor's Degree.
- First Class MBA with specialization in Human Resource Management (HR).
- Ph.D. in Management/HR (Preferred/As per UGC-AICTE norms).
- NET/SLET/SET qualification wherever applicable under UGC regulations.
Experience
- 0–2 years (Fresh Ph.D./NET-qualified candidates may apply).
- Industry experience in HR will be an added advantage.
- Teaching experience in MBA/BBA programs is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong command over HRM concepts and labour legislation.
- Excellent classroom teaching and presentation skills.
- Research aptitude and academic writing skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HR Analytics and HRIS tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Student mentoring and counselling abilities.

Salary
