Job Summary
The Primary Teacher (PRT) is responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and child-friendly learning environment for students in Classes I to V. The teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons, promote academic excellence, foster social and emotional development, and ensure the holistic growth of every child.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Develop students' foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking.
- Assess student performance through assignments, projects, classwork, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, academic progress, and student behavior.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide additional support where required.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Encourage creativity, participation, teamwork, and independent learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, workshops, and school events.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, and report cards.
- Ensure classroom discipline while promoting a positive and respectful learning environment.
- Perform additional academic and administrative duties assigned by the school management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
Experience
- 1–5 years of teaching experience in a recognized school.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and relevant qualifications may also apply.
