Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced BI Monitoring / Dashboard Engineer with strong expertise in Apache Superset, Tableau, Kibana, Elasticsearch, and SQL. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and implementing monitoring dashboards, developing complex SQL queries, troubleshooting data and system issues, and integrating dashboards with multiple data storage systems.
The candidate will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders to build effective dashboards, monitor business and system metrics, and provide actionable insights into performance, scalability, availability, and system health.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and implement monitoring and visualization solutions based on client requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for monitoring procedures and technical solutions.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries on large-scale customer datasets.
- Investigate issues, identify root causes, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
- Configure and customize Apache Superset dashboards to display relevant business metrics and KPIs.
- Integrate Apache Superset dashboards with various data storage and processing systems, including Trino, S3/MinIO, and Hive.
- Monitor dashboards, alerts, and notifications to proactively identify system issues, anomalies, and performance concerns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design effective dashboards for different stakeholders.
- Develop complex queries and aggregations in Kibana to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
- Build and configure Elasticsearch indices and mappings to ensure efficient data indexing and retrieval.
- Implement advanced search and analytical capabilities in Kibana using filters, queries, and aggregations.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Analysts to define data models and mapping structures for optimal dashboard and Kibana usage.
- Analyze system performance, scalability, and availability metrics.
- Provide recommendations and support for improving system performance, scalability, reliability, and availability.
Mandatory Skills
- 7+ years of relevant experience in BI, Monitoring, Dashboarding, or Data Visualization.
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache Superset.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries and query optimization.
- Experience with Tableau or similar BI visualization tools.
- Hands-on experience with Kibana and Elasticsearch.
- Experience creating complex queries, filters, and aggregations in Kibana.
- Experience with Elasticsearch indices, mappings, and data retrieval.
- Strong understanding of dashboard development, KPI monitoring, and data visualization.
- Experience troubleshooting data and system issues and performing root-cause analysis.
- Good understanding of large-scale datasets and data analysis.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
