1. System Design & Engineering (Pre-Construction)
- Site Assessment: Evaluate prospective installation sites (rooftop or ground-mounted) for shading, structural integrity, and solar resource availability using tools like PVsyst, Helioscope, or AutoCAD.
- Engineering Design: Develop comprehensive electrical and mechanical layouts, including single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring schematics, and string configurations for DC and AC systems.
- Equipment Selection: Specify and size major system components—such as solar panels, inverters, transformers, mounting structures, and balance-of-system (BOS) equipment—to match project requirements and local grid standards.
2. Permitting, Compliance & Documentation
- Regulatory Approvals: Prepare engineering documentation required for local utility interconnection applications, net metering approvals, and building permits.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all designs and installations strictly adhere to national and local electrical codes (e.g., NEC), structural standards, and safety regulations.
3. Project Execution & Technical Oversight (During Construction)
- Technical Support: Provide guidance to installation crews, project managers, and electricians to resolve on-site engineering challenges or drawing discrepancies.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct site audits to ensure workmanship aligns with engineering specifications, industry standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Testing and Commissioning: Oversee the rigorous testing of DC/AC circuits, insulation resistance, and inverter performance to safely energize the system.
4. Performance Monitoring & O&M (Post-Construction)
- Data Analytics: Monitor operational data via remote monitoring portals to track energy yield, system uptime, and performance ratios.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex system failures, underperformance issues, or inverter faults, and formulate corrective action plans for field technicians.
- Reliability Optimization: Recommend equipment upgrades, preventive maintenance schedules, or retrofits to enhance long-term system efficiency.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
