A Nursery Co-Teacher assists the lead teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children (aged 3-5). Key duties include helping with lesson planning, supervising classroom activities, managing social-emotional development, maintaining classroom safety/hygiene, and communicating with parents. They foster an inclusive atmosphere, facilitating hands-on play and learning to build children's confidence and skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Assistance: Support the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate learning activities and lesson plans focusing on cognitive, physical, and social-emotional growth.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and stimulating environment, including setting up play areas and educational stations.
- Child Supervision: Supervise children during playtime, snack time, and other routines, ensuring safety protocols are followed and providing individual attention.
- Student Support & Development: Monitor individual progress, observe behaviors, and foster positive social interactions, helping children build confidence and learn good manners.
- Parent Communication: Collaborate with the lead teacher to inform parents about their child's developmental progress, milestones, and daily activities.
Common Requirements
- Education/Certification: Early Childhood Education (ECE) degree or [Nursery Teacher Training] (NTT) certification is often required.
- Experience: Prior experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Skills: Patience, creativity, energetic, strong communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
Pay: ₹18,041.00 - ₹20,128.00 per month
