Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior IAM Support Engineer to manage day-to-day IAM operations, provide L2/L3 support, and ensure the stability and security of identity platforms. The role focuses on troubleshooting authentication issues, supporting integrations, and maintaining access management services across enterprise applications.
Core Skills & Experience
Authentication & Authorization Support
- Strong working knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML
- Experience supporting Auth0 or similar IAM platforms in production environments
Troubleshooting & Incident Management
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve authentication and authorization issues
- Experience analyzing logs, SAML assertions, OAuth tokens, and API failures
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and SLA-driven support environments
IAM / CIAM Operations
- Hands-on experience managing IAM/CIAM platforms
- Support for user lifecycle management (provisioning, deprovisioning, access changes)
- Understanding of RBAC and ABAC implementation and support
Cloud IAM Support
- Experience supporting IAM services in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Ability to troubleshoot identity-related issues in cloud environments
API & Integration Support
- Experience supporting IAM integrations with REST APIs
- Understanding of tokens, JSON, and API authentication flows
Basic Development Knowledge
- Working knowledge of Java or .NET (for troubleshooting integrations)
- Ability to review logs and debug IAM-related application issues
Security & Compliance
- Awareness of IAM security best practices
- Understanding of access governance and compliance requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for IAM platforms, ensuring high availability and performance
- Troubleshoot authentication, authorization, and SSO issues across applications
- Support integrations with Auth0, Azure AD, AWS Cognito, and enterprise applications
- Manage user lifecycle activities, including provisioning and access updates
- Monitor IAM systems, respond to incidents, and meet SLA targets
- Work with application teams to resolve IAM-related issues
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive fixes
- Maintain documentation and runbooks for support processes
- Assist in audits, compliance checks, and access reviews
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with federation tools (ADFS, Ping Identity, ForgeRock)
- Exposure to Privileged Access Management (PAM) support
- Familiarity with Zero Trust concepts
- Experience with DevSecOps or production support models.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
Certifications (Preferred):
- Auth0 Developer
- Microsoft Identity & Access Administrator
- AWS Security Specialist
