Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Labour Room Staff Nurse to provide safe, high-quality nursing care to mothers during labour, delivery, and immediate post-delivery care. The candidate should be experienced in handling maternity emergencies, supporting doctors during procedures, and ensuring excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the labour room
- Monitor mother and fetal wellbeing during labour
- Assist doctors during normal and assisted deliveries
- Prepare patients for labour procedures and interventions
- Monitor vital signs, contractions, fetal heart rate, and progress of labour
- Provide pre and post-delivery care to mothers and newborns
- Assist in emergency situations and follow clinical protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation
- Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families
Qualifications:
- B.Sc Nursing / GNM qualification
- Valid Nursing Council Registration
- Experience in Labour Room / Maternity Care preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency situations
Preferred Experience:
- Labour room / Obstetrics & Gynaecology experience
- Newborn care and emergency handling experience
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
