Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations in the CHA (Custom House Agent) industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complete accounting activities from start to finalization.
- Manage and supervise the accounts team.
- Prepare and finalize financial statements and reports.
- Ensure timely GST return filing and GST compliance.
- Handle Income Tax Return (ITR) filing and related compliance.
- Prepare and submit statutory filings, challans, and other regulatory documents.
- Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the CHA, logistics, freight forwarding, or import-export industry.
- Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
