About the Role You won't write code. You'll build systems through AI. We use Claude to generate production software across ~10 interconnected platforms that digitize manufacturing operations. Your job is to architect what gets built, guide the AI, validate outputs, and ship working systems. If you can think clearly about how systems fit together, understand AI fundamentals, and communicate precisely with Claude about what you want—you can build software here. This is the job of the next decade. What You'll Do Architect features and systems — define the problem, break it into pieces Claude can solve, integrate the outputs into working products Prompt and iterate with Claude — guide AI-generated code, evaluate quality, refine until it works Ship across multiple platforms — work on 10+ different softwares; no specialization, just systems thinking Understand manufacturing workflows — learn how real factories work, translate that into digital solutions Make integration decisions — APIs, databases, data flow—you decide the structure; Claude implements it Test and validate — ensure AI-generated code actually solves the problem.
What We're Looking For Required: Strong grasp of AI fundamentals — you understand what large language models can/can't do, how to structure prompts, why different approaches work Systems thinking — you can break complex problems into solvable pieces, see how components interact Reasoning ability / high IQ — you can think through edge cases, architectural tradeoffs, and integration complexity without hand-holding Communication clarity — you can describe what you want to Claude precisely. Bad prompts = bad code. Curiosity about manufacturing — or at least willingness to learn how real operations work Nice to have: Basic understanding of APIs, databases, data flow (not deep experience, just conceptual) Experience with manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial workflows Familiarity with how LLMs work (transformer architecture, context windows, training) Product thinking—understanding user problems, not just building features Why This Role? No coding gatekeeping — coding skill is irrelevant. You don't need 5 years of Python to be effective here. Ship fast — prompt, validate, ship. Iteration cycles are days, not weeks. Work across the full stack — frontend, backend, infrastructure—Claude handles the syntax; you handle the strategy. Learn manufacturing domain — most engineers never see how real industrial systems work. You will. Own your decisions — your architectural choices drive what gets built.
