About the Role
PeachWood Interio is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Interior Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and project budgets for residential and commercial interior projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge of interior materials, execution methods, and costing, while working closely with the design, procurement, sales, and execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze architectural, interior, and working drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Conduct site visits for measurements, assessments, and quantity verification whenever required.
- Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity take-offs, and material calculations.
- Estimate costs for modular kitchens, wardrobes, false ceilings, furniture, civil works, electrical works, and complete interior fit-outs.
- Prepare comprehensive project budgets, cost sheets, and client quotations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain material pricing and compare quotations.
- Maintain updated cost databases for materials, labour, and subcontractor rates.
- Collaborate with the Design, Sales and Project Execution teams to optimize project costs.
- Revise estimates based on design changes, value engineering, or client requirements.
- Ensure timely submission of estimates, quotations, and project cost reports.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising quality.
- Maintain accurate estimation records and project documentation.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in interior estimation, quantity surveying, or interior fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of interior materials, hardware, finishes, modular furniture, and construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and interior drawings.
- Good understanding of residential and commercial interior execution.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation tools.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Experience in modular furniture estimation and turnkey interior projects will be an added advantage.
Location: Kochi, Edapally
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kochi, Kerala (Kochi): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
