Roles & Responsibilities
· Lead the merchandising process from development to delivery for international and domestic clients.
· Handle buyer communications, product presentations, costing sheets, sampling trackers, sample approvals, and order follow-up.
· Liaise and coordinate with clients, design, sampling, production, and quality teams to ensure product feasibility, cost optimization and timely execution.
· Manage T&A (Time & Action) calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met.
· Analyze trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to advise on product development.
· Participate in buyer meetings, presentations, and fairs when needed.
· Participate in resolving production related issues, including quality defects, production delays and supply chain disruptions through effective problem-solving and communication with relevant stakeholders.
· Ensure compliance with client quality standards and certification requirements.
· Coordinate with vendors, mills, and internal departments for fabric and trim sourcing.
· Develop costing for buyer enquiries and negotiate pricing and terms with buyer.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
· Good knowledge of textiles and fabric construction (woven, knitted, printed, embroidered, etc.)
· Experience in Textile Merchandising Job (in home textiles Division is a plus).
· Proficiency in Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint and ERP software.
· Ready to embrace change and learn new skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to multitask and handle pressure with attention to detail.
· Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
