We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Security Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will serve as the first line of defense against cyber threats by monitoring network activity, identifying security vulnerabilities, and implementing corrective measures to prevent breaches. The role also involves educating employees on security best practices and contributing to the organization's long-term cybersecurity strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Traffic: Check computer networks and systems for weird or harmful activity.
- Fix Weaknesses: Run regular safety scans to find system flaws and patch them quickly.
- Respond to Attacks: Lead efforts to stop live security breaches and limit data damage.
- Manage Tools: Install and run protective tools like firewalls, antivirus apps, and encryption programs.
- Write Reports: Document details about safety issues, system performance, and threat trends.
- Train Employees: Teach staff members how to spot phishing scams and handle password security.
- Build Plans: Create recovery plans to keep the business running during an emergency or outage.
Skills and Qualifications
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to look at large datasets and find hidden safety patterns.
- Problem Solving: Quick at figuring out why a breach happened and how to stop it from happening again.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of firewalls, proxies, network protocols, and SIEM tools.
- Communication: Ability to explain technical security risks to people who do not work in IT.
- Attention to Detail: Good at noticing very small changes in system behavior that could mean trouble
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or general IT support.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or CISSP will be considered an added advantage.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
