Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to support shipbuilding operations in Goa. The candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and inspection of mechanical systems onboard vessels, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee installation of mechanical systems such as piping, HVAC, engines, and auxiliary equipment
- Interpret technical drawings, P&ID diagrams, and specifications
- Coordinate with production, welding, and quality teams
- Ensure adherence to safety and marine engineering standards
- Conduct inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical components
- Monitor project progress and prepare technical reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in shipbuilding, marine, or heavy engineering industry
- Knowledge of marine systems, fabrication, and welding processes
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
