Team Leadership & Management
Lead and manage a team of 40-50 accounting professionals with 3-4 supervisors directly reporting to you
Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance management to direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture
Establish clear goals and expectations for the Work Dynamics client accounting team
Conduct regular performance reviews and development discussions with supervisors
Domain
Accounts Payable lead with strong P2P knowledge and analytical skills
Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Implement and strengthen internal controls to mitigate financial risks
Review and approve payments for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards
Monitor key financial metrics and provide insights to leadership
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization
Client Relationship Management
Lead regular calls with key stakeholders to understand evolving business requirements
Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated client issues
Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and identify growth opportunities
Provide strategic financial guidance to clients based on industry trends and best practices
Strategic Initiatives
Work closely with leadership team to develop and implement strategic initiatives
Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth and service expansion
Lead cross-functional projects to improve operational efficiency
Support the development of new service offerings based on client needs
Learning & Development
Create and implement comprehensive training programs for team members at all levels
Identify skill gaps and develop targeted L&D initiatives to address them
Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development
Mentor high-potential employees for leadership roles
Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across teams
Process & Quality Improvement
Standardize P2P processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
Implement technology solutions to automate routine tasks
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for service delivery
Lead quality assurance reviews to ensure consistent service excellence
Drive innovation in service delivery methods
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
Monitor and mitigate financial and operational risks
Establish robust documentation practices for audit readiness
Stay updated on industry regulations and accounting standard changes

Effective working knowledge of Microsoft office products and real estate/development accounting software

Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure with multiple and changing priorities.
High proficiency in excel and/or any real estate-related software.
Bachelor’s degree in commerce & accounting
Minimum 12-14 years of accounting experience
Performance Objectives Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support or production team
Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion, coordinates work activities with other supervisors
Exceptional oral and written communication skills with external clients as well as professionals within the department.
Supervisory experience (centered around reviewing financial statements, training, etc.)
Experience and success working in a team environment.
Detailed oriented and strong organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines
Demonstrated technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and JD Edward & PeopleSoft
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
