Job Summary
The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of members, staff, visitors, and property within the fitness centre. The role includes monitoring premises, managing access control, preventing unauthorized activities, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol the fitness centre premises regularly to ensure safety and security.
- Control entry and exit of members, staff, and visitors.
- Verify memberships and visitor passes when required.
- Prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or suspicious activities.
- Monitor CCTV systems and security equipment.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, accidents, or disturbances.
- Handle conflict situations professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Ensure fire safety equipment and emergency exits are accessible and functional.
- Maintain incident reports and daily security logs.
- Assist in crowd management during peak hours, events, or emergencies.
- Coordinate with management and emergency services when required.
- Support in enforcing fitness centre rules and policies.
- Conduct bag checks or inspections if required as per company policy.
- Ensure parking areas and surrounding premises remain secure.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security, facility management, or related field preferred.
- Valid security guard license/certification (if applicable as per local regulations).
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response.
- Good observation and surveillance skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
