We are seeking a skilled, responsible and organized Lathe Operator for our manufacturing team at production shop floor to set up, operate, and maintain lathe machines to perform turning operations on metal or plastic components. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, mechanically knowledgeable, and capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Additionally, they should be familiar with safety procedures.
Responsibilities:
1. Set up and operate lathe machines to produce precision parts.
2. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
3. Measure and inspect finished work pieces using callipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure conformance to specifications.
4. Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
5. Perform routine maintenance on lathe machines and ensure the work area is clean and organized.
6. Record production data and report any mechanical issues.
7. Ensure adherence to safety standards and company procedures.
8. Ready to work in-house with fabrication team or any other related tasks assigned by the superior.
Qualifications:
1. Diploma or ITI in Mechanical/machining certification is plus.
2. Minimum knowledge to read English, write, and speak.
3. Proven experience in operating manual lathe machines for 3 to 5 Years.
4. Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and tolerance specifications.
5. Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometeors, callipers, and gauges.
6. Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
7. Physical strength to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
