Assembly and Wiring
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams (SLD), and layout drawings.
- Mount components like circuit breakers (MCB, MCCB, ACB), contactors, relays, and meters inside the panel.
- Cut, bend, and install copper or aluminum busbars.
- Perform internal wiring, control wiring, and terminal block connections.
Testing and Quality Control
- Conduct insulation resistance (IR) tests and high-voltage (HV) flash tests.
- Check continuity and mechanical operation of switches and interlocks.
- Verify proper earthing and clearance distances.
- Troubleshoot wiring errors or component defects during assembly.
Safety and Workplace Standards
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines (PPE usage).
- Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Report any material shortages or equipment damage to the supervisor. [1, 2, 3]
Required Skills and Qualifications
- ITI in Electrical/Wireman or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in an electrical panel manufacturing or switchgear industry.
- Good knowledge of low-tension electrical components and wiring standards.
- Ability to use hand tools, crimping tools, and multimeters.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
