Job Summary
The Quality Chemist will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the quality standards of ghee production in the dairy plant. The role involves conducting routine laboratory tests, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and supporting the production team in maintaining consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality tests of raw materials, cream, butter, and finished ghee as per standard procedures.
- Perform chemical analysis such as moisture, FFA, acidity, peroxide value, and other quality parameters of ghee.
- Monitor the quality of incoming milk/cream used for ghee production.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, food safety, and company quality standards.
- Maintain proper documentation and laboratory records of all test results.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure quality parameters are maintained during processing.
- Identify and report any quality deviations or contamination risks.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and quality protocols within the laboratory and production area.
- Assist during internal and external audits related to quality and food safety.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of dairy chemistry and ghee quality parameters.
- Familiarity with laboratory testing equipment and analytical methods.
- Understanding of food safety standards and dairy industry practices.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
