Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced 2D Draughtsman to prepare accurate architectural and construction drawings for residential and commercial projects. The candidate should have strong AutoCAD skills and practical knowledge of permit drawings and approval procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed 2D architectural and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
* Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, working drawings, and detailed construction drawings.
* Prepare and revise permit drawings as per applicable building rules and authority requirements.
* Handle drawings required for building permit applications and approvals.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and site teams.
* Prepare drawings and details required for estimation and BOQ preparation.
* Prepare and update as-built drawings based on site requirements.
* Ensure drawings comply with applicable building rules, setbacks, and authority requirements.
* Coordinate with local authorities/consultants regarding permit drawings, corrections, and approvals.
* Maintain proper drawing records and ensure timely submission of revised drawings.
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Diploma / ITI / relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Drafting.
* 3–5 years of experience in the construction field.
* Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
* Good knowledge of residential construction drawings and detailing.
* Must hold a valid license for preparing/submitting building permit drawings.
* Practical experience in permit drawing preparation and approval procedures.
* Knowledge of Kerala building rules and K-SMART / local authority approval procedures will be preferred.
* Knowledge of estimation-related drawings and measurements will be an added advantage.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good coordination and communication skills.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
