Job Description
- Design mechanical systems and components for automated car parking structures (hydraulic, electro-mechanical, semi-automated, and fully automated systems).
- Create 2D/3D models, assembly drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and manufacturing drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Coordinate with the electrical, civil, and installation teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components.
- Review and interpret client requirements, site constraints, and provide suitable design solutions.
- Conduct design validation, simulations, and tolerance analysis for all moving parts.
- Assist in prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical assemblies.
- Ensure adherence to applicable standards, codes, and safety norms.
- Maintain design documentation and revision history.
- Work closely with vendors for part specifications, costing, and fabrication feasibility.
- 5-6 years of experience in mechanical design; experience with car parking systems or lifting equipment or SPM design or Machine design preferred.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proven work experience as Design Engineer
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of 2D, 3D in AutoCAD software, Solid Edge, SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of materials, mechanical manufacturing processes, and tolerances.
- Must have good attention to detail.
- Familiarity with hydraulic/pneumatic systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
