Position description: We are seeking a highly organized and experienced professional to oversee the QA Disposition operations within the Finishing Lines at Jindal Stainless Limited. This role demands a proactive leader who can manage quality assurance processes, ensure compliance with industry standards, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain product integrity in the mining and metals sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, process optimization, and team management, ensuring that all finishing line outputs meet stringent quality criteria and customer specifications.
Primary Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the QA Disposition activities on the finishing lines to ensure adherence to quality standards and production schedules.

Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process improvements.

Ensure compliance with internal quality policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements specific to the mining and metals industry.

Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality checks and disposition processes on the finishing lines.

Train and mentor QA team members to enhance their skills and ensure consistent application of quality standards.

Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify the effectiveness of quality control measures and disposition decisions.

Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to manage non-conforming materials and ensure proper documentation and disposition.

Prepare detailed reports on quality performance, disposition outcomes, and improvement initiatives for senior management review.

Drive continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing defects, minimizing rework, and enhancing overall product quality.
