Role Overview: The Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely availability of medicines and healthcare products across stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end procurement of medicines and healthcare products
- Coordinate with vendors, distributors, and suppliers for orders and deliveries
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
- Negotiate pricing, margins, and commercial terms with vendors
- Maintain purchase records, invoices, and documentation
- Ensure product availability across stores with minimal stock-outs
- Track and manage returns, expiries, and damaged goods
- Work closely with inventory and store teams for demand planning
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement/purchase (preferably in Pharma, Healthcare, or FMCG)
- Strong knowledge of medicines, distributors, and supply chain processes
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in Google Sheet, MS-Excel and ERP/Tally systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in retail pharmacy procurement
- Understanding of inventory management and demand planning
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
