Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and analytical Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for furniture manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, ERP knowledge, excellent Excel skills, and experience in vendor management, preferably in the furniture, plywood, foam, fabric, hardware, or manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
Source and procure raw materials, hardware, consumables, and packaging materials.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Create and process Purchase Orders through ERP.
Track order status and ensure timely deliveries.
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, and Finance teams.
Monitor inventory levels and avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
Compare quotations and prepare cost analyses.
Ensure procurement complies with quality standards and company policies.
Resolve supplier-related quality and delivery issues.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
Maintain accurate procurement documentation and MIS reports.
Required Skills

Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally Prime, or equivalent).
Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, dashboards, data analysis).
MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Knowledge of procurement documentation and MIS reporting.
Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates with experience in any of the following industries will be preferred:

Sofa Manufacturing
Interior Products
Plywood & Panel Industry
Foam & Mattress Industry
Furnishing & Fabric Industry
Wood Products
Manufacturing / Engineering
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
Professional certifications in Procurement or Supply Chain will be an added advantage.
Experience
3–6 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
Experience in a furniture or manufacturing company is highly preferred.
