Position: Civil Engineer – Projects
Department: Projects / Engineering
Reporting To: Project Manager / Head – Projects
Location: Morbi, Gujarat
Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Civil Engineer to manage and oversee project execution with a strong focus on finishing and interior works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely project completion, maintaining quality standards, coordinating with stakeholders, and effectively managing site activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Execution & Site Management:
- Plan, execute, and monitor civil construction projects in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure quality workmanship across all stages of construction.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Manage site manpower, subcontractors, and resources to achieve project objectives efficiently.
- Resolve technical and operational issues arising during project execution.
Finishing & Interior Works:
- Lead and supervise finishing and interior construction activities, including:
- Plastering works
- Tile and stone fixing
- Plumbing installations
- Painting and coating works
- Furniture and joinery works
- Interior fit-out activities
- Ensure all finishing works meet project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.
Coordination & Communication:
- Coordinate effectively with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
- Facilitate timely procurement and availability of construction materials at the project site.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress, risks, and resource requirements.
Quality, Safety & Compliance:
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with technical specifications and industry standards.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Implement corrective actions for quality or safety deviations identified during inspections.
Documentation & Project Closure:
- Maintain accurate project records, drawings, reports, and documentation.
- Assist in project handover, snag rectification, and closure activities.
- Ensure all project documentation is completed and archived as per company procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 3–10 years of relevant experience in civil project execution and site management.
- Strong hands-on experience in finishing and interior works is mandatory.
- Experience in billing and quantity surveying is not required for this role.
- Good understanding of construction methodologies, finishing techniques, quality standards, and safety practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
