Job Summary
The Molding Semi-Operator assists the Molding Operator in machine operation, material handling, quality inspection, mold changing activities, and general production support. The role ensures smooth machine operation, adherence to quality standards, and maintenance of a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Molding Operator in operating and monitoring injection molding machines.
- Support machine start-up, shutdown, and routine production activities.
- Assist during mold installation, mold changes, machine cleaning, and setup activities.
- Independently handle machine setup, start-up, parameter setting, and changeovers during designated shifts where authorized.
- Perform visual inspection of molded products and segregate defective components.
- Report quality issues, molding defects, machine abnormalities, and safety concerns to the Operator or Supervisor.
- Supply, load, and handle raw materials according to production requirements.
- Assist in material preparation activities, including material mixing and drying.
- Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping around machines, tools, and work areas.
- Support production documentation and shift handover activities.
- Follow standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and safety guidelines at all times.
- Assist the Operator in achieving production targets while minimizing rejection and downtime.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
