Position: Mother Teacher (Grade 2)
Location: Sri Chaitanya techno school sector 67 A , Gurugram
Reports to: Principal / Coordinator
Role Overview:
The Mother Teacher will serve as the primary educator and caretaker for Grade 2 students, ensuring their academic, emotional, and social development. The role requires nurturing guidance, effective teaching across multiple subjects, and building a strong connection between the school and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach all core subjects (English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, etc.) as per the curriculum.
- Create a positive, child-friendly, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Address the academic as well as emotional and social needs of each student.
- Foster values such as discipline, respect, responsibility, and teamwork.
- Assess students’ progress through classwork, assignments, and tests; maintain records and prepare progress reports.
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support when necessary.
- Communicate regularly with parents to update them on their child’s progress and overall well-being.
- Plan creative activities, projects, and events to make learning engaging and holistic.
- Ensure students’ safety, well-being, and discipline during school hours.
- Collaborate with co-teachers and school staff for academic planning and events.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. / B.El.Ed.) or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching primary classes, preferably as a mother teacher.
- Strong command over English and other required subjects.
- Warm, caring, and approachable personality with patience and empathy.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to balance academics with students’ emotional and social development.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
