To strengthen our market reach and accelerate growth, we are seeking a Senior Manager/AGM – Sales and Marketing who will play a pivotal role in expanding our business presence and driving top-line growth. Position Summary The Senior Manager/AGM - Sales and Marketing will lead business development efforts, expand the company’s market reach, and drive sales growth across all product lines, including caps, closures, PET preforms, and related packaging solutions. This role demands extensive travel, market research, strategic planning, and a results-driven approach. The candidate must be tech-savvy, proficient in MS Office, and capable of producing accurate and timely MIS reports for strategic decision-making. The role is best suited for a dynamic, self-motivated individual who excels at building relationships, identifying opportunities, and implementing strategies to achieve long-term business goals. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Market Expansion Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities for the beverage, liquor, pharma, and cosmetic packaging segments. Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing market share for products like caps, closures, preforms, applicators, and pumps. Forge partnerships with distributors, clients, and industry stakeholders to strengthen the company’s market presence. Explore opportunities for cross-selling products across various customer segments. 2. Sales Strategy & Execution Formulate and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals. Drive sales campaigns, promotions, and product launches to increase brand awareness and customer engagement. Ensure successful execution of sales plans and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets. Develop pricing strategies to stay competitive while ensuring profitability. 3. Client Relationship Management Develop strong, long-term relationships with key clients in beverage, liquor, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic sectors. Address client needs, resolve issues promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain regular contact with clients through visits, calls, and follow-ups to strengthen business relationships. Act as a liaison between the client and internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery. 4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Analyze competitor performance and identify opportunities for differentiation and growth. Driving Top-Line Growth Develop and execute action plans to achieve continuous revenue growth across all product categories. Track sales performance and identify areas for improvement to maximize revenue potential. Align sales strategies with the company's broader goals to achieve sustained top-line growth. 6. MIS & Reporting Prepare and maintain accurate and timely MIS (Management Information System) reports on sales performance, market trends, and client activities. Generate reports and dashboards for management review to aid in strategic decision-making. Track sales metrics, forecasts, and performance data to identify trends and opportunities. 7. Product Knowledge & Technical Expertise Develop in-depth knowledge of caps, closures, PET preforms, applicators, droppers, pumps, and other packaging products. Stay updated on advancements in packaging technology and industry best practices. Provide product training and technical support to the sales team and clients. 8. Collaboration & Team Leadership Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and logistics, to deliver customercentric solutions. Mentor and guide the sales team to achieve collective goals. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and strategies that support sales efforts. 9. Tech Savvy & MS Office Proficiency Leverage technology to improve sales processes, manage customer relationships, and enhance productivity. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis, report generation, and presentations. Utilize CRM tools and software for effective client management and sales tracking. 10. Travel Requirements Willing to travel extensively to meet clients, explore markets, and attend industry events. Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and business conferences to enhance brand visibility. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred. Experience: 3-6 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the packaging or related industries (beverages, liquor, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics).
