Job Summary
The Spare Parts Executive is responsible for managing inventory, ordering, issuing, and maintaining automobile spare parts for workshop and retail operations. The role ensures timely availability of genuine spare parts, proper stock control, and coordination with service advisors and technicians for smooth dealership operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and accessories.
- Ensure availability of genuine parts for workshop requirements.
- Receive, store, label, and issue spare parts properly.
- Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving spare parts stock.
- Prepare purchase orders and follow up with suppliers/vendors.
- Coordinate with service advisors and technicians regarding parts requirements.
- Maintain stock records in DMS/ERP software.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliation.
- Handle customer inquiries related to spare parts and pricing.
- Prepare quotations, invoices, and parts billing.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and storage of parts department.
- Support warranty parts handling and documentation.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of automobile spare parts and inventory management.
- Basic understanding of dealership management systems (DMS/ERP).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Computer proficiency in MS Excel and inventory software.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Qualification
- Graduate / Diploma in Automobile Engineering or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in automobile spare parts or dealership operations preferred.
- Experience in automotive dealership industry will be an added advantage.
Salary
- As per company standards and experience.

- Experience in automobile dealership spare parts department.
- Knowledge of genuine OEM spare parts handling and inventory control.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
