DevOps Engineer

Job details

Serve as a key member of the DevOps team with a focus on security while managing the overall system health, performance, and scale.
Perform project and business assessment and implement suitable DevOps solution across organization.
Design and deploy world-class SaaS products using containerization/ (Kubernetes/Docker) and cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.).
Working closely with the engineering team to deploy and maintain the infrastructure.
Maintain SLAs by tuning systems according to scale and automate the process.
Design, planning, development, and automation of operational solutions based on business requirements and scale.
Review implementation of security controls and evaluate effectiveness, make recommendations for improvements.
Own the platform architecture and build/design the next generation platform and drive it to the next level of effectiveness.
Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development.
Provide critical support, implement threat modelling, and risk assessment techniques.

Working experience on at least two projects developing and managing DevOps pipeline
Good working knowledge & practice on following tools is a must: Git, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible and Terraform (or equivalent tools)
Experience in working on DevOps stages such as code quality check, build, test, containerize, deploy, monitor etc.
Experience in working with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Datadog, CloudWatch etc
Sound knowledge of Linux command line and administration
Experience in working with cloud platforms such AWS, Google Cloud, Azure etc.
Experience in deployment, maintenance and scaling of server instance, load balancing, DNS and other critical cloud ops.
Good verbal and written communication. Knows the best practices and able to articulate things with clarity.
Prior experience in one or more scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, YML scripting etc.
Prior experience in managing basic web-based applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure & Google Cloud is an added advantage.
Prior experience with technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Git, Gitlab, Github etc.•

Out- of- the- box thinking and strong analytical skills with ability to conduct research, data analysis, and resolve complex problems is a prerequisite for this position.
